Valahia UK is a Birmingham-based company that produces high-quality, fresh meat products. 

They established their first factory in the UK to offer meat dishes to a diverse and growing customer base. By bringing their products directly to consumers, they meet the local demand for authentic meat dishes and reliable service.

The Brief

In February 2023, Valahia UK wanted to shift from its traditional B2B model and focus on B2C sales

The goal was to build an e-commerce platform from scratch and grow in the direct-to-consumer market. By expanding their online presence, they wanted to engage customers directly and increase sales.

Our Strategy

Our team worked closely with Valahia UK to develop a strategy focused on fast growth and customer retention. This is how we did it:

1. Paid Advertising

We launched targeted ads on Meta, TikTok, and Google Ads to quickly build brand awareness and drive sales growth. Our team also capitalized on peak shopping periods like Christmas, Easter, and Black Friday to boost sales.

For the optimization of return on ad spend (ROAS), we implemented a mix of prospecting and retargeting strategies that equaled effective conversion rates.

2. Email Marketing

To increase customer lifetime value, we created personalized email campaigns with tailored offers that went out regularly to maintain engagement. 

Automated flows like abandoned cart recovery and reactivation of inactive customers helped boost conversions and improve the overall customer experience.

3. Website & Operational Optimization

We built an e-commerce platform from scratch, integrating shipping, payments, accounting, and data analytics

The user experience was a priority, so we continuously improved the site based on customer feedback. 

As the platform grew, our team also incorporated online B2B sales functionality.

4. Cost-Efficient Growth

With a budget between 5% and 8% of total revenue, we made sure the growth was efficient, delivering strong returns without overspending.
